WHAT YOU NEED:

BAKING SODA

ESSENTIAL OILS (YOUR PREFERRED SCENT IS FINE, I LIKE CITRUS SCENTS FOR THIS PROJECT)

OLD TIGHTS, PANTYHOSE, OR OTHER SUPER THIN BREATHABLE MATERIAL OF YOUR CHOICE

PIECE OF FABRIC (AT LEAST 6X6 INCHES)

PIECE OF YARN (AT LEAST 6 INCHES)

SMALL BOWL TO MIX

SPOON TO MIX

WHAT DO DO:

Cut a section of the tights off. (If using them for this project. If not using tights or pantyhose, you can skip this part.)

If you are using regular footed tights you can use the “foot” as the bottom of your deodorizer pouch but if you have convertible tights (a type of dance tights with a hole in the foot) you will need to cut the tights on both ends and tie one end off, super tight, like this:

After your tights are cut and you have one end open and one end closed off – either via using the foot or the end you tied – set it aside and bring out your baking soda, essential oils, and a small bowl and spoon.

Pour roughly 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda in a bowl.

Now add 10-15 Drops (or more/less depending on your nose and preferences) of each essential oil to the baking soda.

I used Lemon, Lime, Tangerine and Grapefruit.

Stir.

Bring back your cut tights.

Pour 2-3 spoonfuls into the open end and then tie off the open end so that both ends are fully secure.

Cut your fabric to your desired size.

For this I used a 6×6 Inch square and found it to be perfect. Place your tights pouch in the center.

Fold up from around all sides so that the tights pouch stays in the center.

Grab your yarn and wrap it around the top (where you brought up the fabric sides) and tie it tight.

After securing I add a bow.

TaDa!

Seriously Simple Deodorizer.
